Injector Upgrade Options (2003)

I'm almost ready to drop my ls6 longblock into my 2003 rcsb. The truck has a completely stock 4.8 right now. I will be reusing the factory truck intake until it proves to be unsatisfactory. I have explored the options of the ls6 intake and the tbss intake, but each of those comes with its own set of modifcations and issues, and I feel its too much of a pain in the *** for the reward.
I'm looking for a list of possible injector options that I could run on the stock truck intake. I was hoping to find an OEM injector that could save me some cash and be a direct drop in replacement.
I currently have 28# LS1 injectors, but I would need to solder in the correct wiring harness clip (which is no problem), but they dont sit correctly in the intake/rail. I understand people run them this way without an issue, but I personally would rather go another route.
Obviously I realize the tuning aspect of an injector upgrade, and I will probably drive the truck to the tuner on the stock injectors/tune with a light foot.

If you change injectors there is no driving it till it's tuned, light foot or not it will dump too much fuel all the time. If the injectors are 40% larger then it will dump 40% more fuel even at idle. This isn't like a carb, the computer only cares about injector opening time.

Do you have any suggestions for injectors?
How much HP (na) will the stock 23.5# injectors support without increasing fuel pressure?

You could try the stock 8.1L injectors, which are roughly 31#, will fit on your truck manifold (like the factory 4.8L injectors, from what I understand) and only requires a quick flash of the stock 8.1L injector data onto your tune and it will run decent, but not perfect.
If you have to get it tuned, you should be able to optimize better for the smaller displacement, rather than deal with a short-term fix.
The stock injectors are hardly pushed by my stock LQ4, but it's only factory rated at 300HP/360TQ. I say they could fuel your stock LS6's needs under 4000RPM, but after that you are running high duty cycle and all other risks associated with insufficient fueling .
Pushing it any harder and you are probably getting into PE mode (power enrichment) and it will want to dump fuel (unless tuned properly with a WBO2) and if there isn't enough, it will run lean incredibly fast and burn **** up...I might be extra paranoid, but I'd run a bigger injector and a nice tune, just in case

The stock injectors will b fine for the stock ls6. Unless u cam it don't need to really worry. And there's no such thing as a stock injector that will b greater flow rate yet use the stock tune file. I would upgrade to 8.1 injectors they plug rt in and just need to get tune adjusted for the different flow rate. I made 360rwhp on a 5.3 with those 8.1 injectors so u will b fine. But if ur not cammed u don't need them.
