Only AWD ones had the 6.0 as far as I know

So that article is saying the same thing we are, not sure what you're trying to get at. 317s are good on a budget 6,2 with flat tops: but not good on small bore motors. They flow great but the loss in compression hurts worse

yeah, i was just surprised that they still managed to pull more from a n/a 5.3 & 317s than i expected. that's all.

yeah, but i'd be keeping the 862s on my own truck & pawning the 317s & LM7 off onto Harvy House-Dad who buys the SUV to look "practi-cool" and hopefully wouldn't care as much about how much power it makes so long as it gets him from A to B in affordable style.

i only posted that article because it didn't seem to turn out quite as bad as i expected that test to go. that's all i meant by it.
