Lowering the force motor current increases the pressure. Its backwards of what you intuitively think.

I guess I phrased that incorrectly. I used the Force Motor Current tables to increase line pressure. I have made these changes as a diagnostic tool, to find out if the slipping still occurs with more line pressure than needed. Once the transmission is working normally, I will set the line pressures where they need to be for everyday driving. My builder believed that the problem might be the tune, so we used HPT to rule that out.

Saw your truck today! I'm going to have TJ build my transmission as soon as I get the funds up for it. I was going to get a FLT, but I'd rather go local.

I did actually; thanks for the offer! As of now there's nothing to see, I checked it over with a Tech2 today and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I guess it's just time for a good build and a thorough cleaning of all my grounds, some are pretty nasty.

What exactly are your feelings on Jimmys work? I was way impressed with the shop and his, ah, openness to just talk about plans. I need something that's gonna hold up; I have longtubes, cam, and a 150 shot waiting to go on; hopefully before the strip opens.

I've known Jimmy since about '93, when we both worked at a GM dealer. He has always been, and always will be, my only tranny guy. He knows what he's doing, and he stands behind his work. And he's a racer. Did you see the blown hemi rat-rod he's been building for his "shop truck"?

You checked your truck with a tech 2, do you work at a dealer? I worked for GM for 14 years. We should meet up sometime, I'd like to see your truck.
