Default ignition issue

so i have a 1942 ****** with a 1994 tbi 350 in it. the last few times i drove it its died on me. starts up every time when its cold and i can drive the hell out of it with no issues. then at random it will start sputtering and backfire then die. once i pull over it will no longer turn over. acts like its got a dead battery. had it towed home and as soon as she hit the pavement it started right up. i replaced the coil, wires, plugs and the distributer. im thinking maybe its the ignition switch itself. any ideas?

Are there any wires pinched in the distributor cap? What does it look like under the cap?
