idle trouble?

what would cause my 5.3 all stock engine to die when i come to a stop i think its the fuel pressure regulator but im not sure.

got the same problem. been asking around and can't nobody tell me nothing. going to try and get it fixed when i get a tune. but would love to know the problem just to know.

Lack of air... lack of fuel... I'd check the MAF first, throttle body second, and leave fuel related stuff last.

use throttle body cleaner, wire brush, and/or a rag and clean your throttle body!!!

yep, clean the maf and pull the tb off and clean it REALLY good. there was also a tsb on the 03 trucks about a low/unstable idle that called for an updated tune, let me see if i can find it.
