Default Identify part for me.

I was seeing if someone could identify this plastic piece and where it goes, I believe its a inlet pipe for the heater core, it broke a couple weeks ago, and am getting around to fixing and would like to know what to ask for at the dealer. Thanks.

When it blew yeah shot coolant everywhere, I towed it home from where I was and just been driving the cobalt for the last couple weeks, I didnt notice the line was busted at first, was pulling stuff off the motor today and hit the hose and realized it wasnt attached and that was the cause of my problem.

Your going to need a large quick release tool to pull that connector off of the aluminum tube at the heater core. It may be able to be had at an auto parts store that loans special tools. 3/4 size. GM tool number J43181.

I could not find a quick release toll any where to take mine off. I used a rotozip tool that you cut drywall with. Cut real slow and easy on two sides and it popped off.

X2, unless you live where it is cold, just put a coupling to attach the two hose to each other and forget about it.

See if your locall dealer will let you borrow the tool. You can install the connector in the parking lot.
