Default EDIT:P01325!!i need some opinions please.....

i had my truck tuned by a board member on here yesterday, and i am very satisfied with the outcome of the truck i am most impressed with the part throttle driving. shifts were cleaned up and are somewhat firmer and it now takes very little throttle to accelerate. there is no hesitation, and no lugging or down shifting at freeway speeds when passing other people.just wondering if this all sounds correct. i beleive he said i am now running 27* total timing with no kr. he said i wont get anymore timing with my AIT's at 140 degrees in yesterdays heat. how much timing should i see with lower ait's? the truck has a stock intake tube and modded filter box. 100% tm removed. by the way it was a 93 octane tune. i asked him if it was ok to remove 100% tm on a bone stock trans, and he said he always takes it all out and never has seen any problems. does this sound ok? any feedback is appreciated.

EDIT: today, 8/21, ses light came on. i used a scanner and it is p01325 bank 1 o2 sensor. i had the guy tune for my longtubes, wich have been on the truck almost a year, and never had any o2 sensor problems. what is generally changed in the tune for l/t's? and do yall think it could be tuned out? or is it time to get some vette o2 sensors?

I'd think 100% removed on a stock tranny would be fine unless you tow.

Yeah just do servos and a shift kit, remove TM and your good to go.

As far as the timing goes, 27* is about as high as it gets in that heat. I was getting KR on my stock cam with 29* in heat about 10* cooler.

as far as servos and a shift kit goes, im having a tranny built be exner transmission here within the next couple of months, so my stock tranny will have to hold up untill then....hopefully

do you think a cold air intake will lower the IAT's?

I had 100% removed on my stock tranny and hauled my Z400 to races and everywhere else, never had a problem man.

Even if you do tow. Just leave the tow/haul TM settings alone and you're all set.
