Default I freaking HATE tuning...............

Well i have been chasing a wierd LTFT problem for months... I thought it was a vacuum leak or exhaust leak or dead O2 sensor, you name it i thought it... The problem was my LTFTs would be perfect (-2% to +2%) during regular aggressive driving, but as soon as i would do a steady state cruise, my LTFTs would go WAY negative... Something like -15 to -20.....

Well come to find out, my dumbass lowered my O2 switch points in the low load cells sometime ago and completely forgot about them... This explains why they would go back to normal when i was on the gas... Well today when talking to DC_Justin, i figured it out... Put the the switch points back to stock any my LTFT are right where they are supposed to be... Truck runs like a champ now.... This little screw up also cause my idle to be completely freaking retarded... Causing all kinds of idling issues....

So several months and ALOT of gas wasted on something stupid.. .

I've been working with mine for nearly 3 years and still come across things I have changed for no apparent reason that are screwing things up. I guess when there are literally hundreds of tables, constants and flags to mess with its bound to happen but it sure does make you feel dumb.

Good to hear. I was going to PM you about LTFT's but Might as well ask here. Do you think there would be any advantage to turning mine back on even though i'm running COS3 SD?
I've been contemplating it.

Yep tuning can drive you nuts. I go back and compare to old tunes, sometimes stock ones, when weird things pop up. I've found a few duh's that way.

Mine has a bug now. Doesn't want to run for crap after a hot start. Least this time I'm fairly confident it isn't tune related as I haven't changed anything in a long while.

This is just my opinion, put if it is tunned right I don't think you will notice a difference in performance, mine runs a little more consistant with the trims and MAF enabled.. Then again my cam and verter is alot more touchy than yours.

I've found if you never move past the stage where your tuning software seems like some alien language to you, you never come across these problems Who cares about that SES light?!
