Glad to hear you found the issue, I was truely baffled on this one as was our hardware designer as neither of us had ever run into such an instance.

Talk about a needle in a haystack though it definitely would've had me at this point

I figured it was something in the obd2 port or wiring thereafter but I guess I'll keep our pins in mind next time as well, I guess you keep the obd2 cable connected to the obd2 port at all times & just plug in the interface when needed?

Yeah, IF I was to ever take it to a dealer (which i need to for some recall stuff before they go bankrupt) I just take it out. But not anymore, I remove it now. LOL

Yeah cry wolf.......and yes...I am doing a call out for the OBD II wiring diagram. I guess I should use the search button and find my own damn threads huh?

foff, can you tell me which pin on the OBD2 that damaged pin goes to? I'll continuity them out, but just curious if you had that info handy.

I would just like to see the wiring diagram for those pins.

Wow, that's pretty cool, seems so simple yet so hard to track down (as many electrical problems usually are). Seems like you have it "pinned" down now, pun intended

FYI
ckt 451 ends at G103, located at the right rear of the engine block, it has been known to have the wiring break inside the insulation at this location and cause some weird electrical issues

ckt1850 ends at G203 which is located at the drivers side a-pillar, behind the dash pad near the base of the windshield
