I had heard a lot more about HPtuners than EFI live at the time I decided. Im starting to wonder if I made the right choice now
The main reason was cost. Both the initial cost, and I have a few friends that wanted the ability to log and tune also. I went in on it with a friend, and I like learning new stuff. Hpt was $100 less than EFI live, but I can tune two years of trucks instead of two trucks. I have an 00, with a 02 PCM, and have a friend with a Tech 2, so anyone'w pcm I want to tune, I can re-program the VIN and tune away. That was the main reason, just the ability to tune for year models instead of just two vehicles. And the extra $$$.

bigkid, slowprocess and myself all ordered hpt and i am still happy with the tune and tuning ability over the predator. I know bigkid is going to do some serious tuning with his new setup and as of now he was way happy with using hpt over edit. ease and such.
