Anyone out there with simlar mods but will to give advice for my tuning issues ..... or perhaps a tune file ....? i was thinking about buying it, i have a few options ....

hptuners or nelsons tune ..... that is what i have em narrowed down too ....

 

im definatley going to spray or FI the truck in the spring.... i was thinking just buy the hptuners and ill be ready and familliar with it by the time i get my power adder.

 

I would go with a tuning program over a mail order tune. Are you dead set on HP Tuners?

 

If you're doing a lot of mods, HP Tuners or EFI Live is the way to go, especially going FI. The convenience of having it anytime you need it is worth the cost. There's enough help out there that you can learn it pretty quick.

I don't know about EFI Live, but with HP Tuners, you get 8 credits for the $500 or $650 price(with enhanced I/O). You would need 4 to license your truck and upgrade to a 2 Bar OS.

EFI or HPT would be a great tool.
