Wish I had seen that before I ordered the V3. Oh well. Too late now.

I'd like to switch to wideband so I can see AFR and use it down the road when my motor is no longer stock. Is AEM UEGO still the way to go?

@Atomic Do you happen to have any of those pro hubs? I would like to quit using my USB to serial port. It is slightly irritating.

Can we upload tunes on this forum? My HPT came in today. I still know nothing about it, other than how to read the tune.

So I looked and I dont have any more of the MVPI2s or 2+s, I only have the 3s left on the shelf. But I do have 5 or so of the pro adapter things.

Well HP Tuners came in handy already and I've only had it a few days. This morning the truck fired up and immediately died. Would start then immediately shut off every time. Somehow the theft deterrent system got tripped. Cleared the code and it's fine now. Logged some data to use as typical scans data for future troubleshooting. Not sure how I have negative oil pressure... dash Guage reads normal.

Trying to figure out how this Ballenger AFR hooks up to HP Tuners (VCM Scan). As I understand, I need a Pro-link and wire the Ballenger into one of the serial port inputs. I figured there would be a "how to" somewhere on youtube or google but no luck. I'm hoping the pro-link will provide me with a little bit of instruction or idea when it gets here.

@RDF1 sent me a transmission tune that I've modified a little (I hope that's not frowned upon). Raised partial throttle shift points so the motor stays at a little higher RPM for around-town and acceleration speeds. Also made it downshift at a lower throttle percentage, at HWY cruising speeds a slight roll of the throttle kicks it down to 3rd, it just wants to pass people now. And all of the shift points for tow/haul are quite tall now and much more to my liking. Thank you RDF1!

I do still wish there was a practical way to keep the TCC locked to provide engine braking while leaving the gear selector in "drive" when in tow/haul. But, I do have engine braking in D3 and D2 so it will still do the job, just not as convenient.
