Default HP Tuners Pro or Standard?

So I was thinking about learning this on my own instead of sending out for a mail order tune. In regards to the Pro vs. Standard which do you guys prefer, and what will I be missing if anything buying the standard over the pro version? I am new at this so excuse my ignorance. Thanks!

Well, the major thing Pro gives you is native 0-5v inputs, which are great if you happen to get a wideband to go with that planned turbo...

Aside from the wideband, is it still possible to tune a turbo'd truck appropriately with the standard version? Or will it be unruly without it? Guess I am trying to talk myself into saving some money. Every little bit helps lol!

I would not tune anything without wideband feedback directly into the software - for the level of accuracy that I want, it would take forever doing it without... I actually prefer EFILive because I can use a serial wideband - no ground issues like an analog wideband.

I have hptuners pro and I love it. I would get it just for the ease of hooking up wideband.

Go with the pro the first time and have no regrets. I got the standard version first to save money, but I later upgraded which in turn cost me more money than just buying the pro version the first time.

Go with the Pro version, for the reasons mentioned above.

I got the pro. I think that it is unanimous. Learning to tune sucks though you will get frustrated i know i did but in the long run well worth the money.

I don't appreciate the way you guys spend my money... lmao!

Well now I got something else to look for and research on as well since tuning is so new to me. Thank you for everyone's input!
