Default truck wont start, weird issues...

So I was pulling my truck in to my garage this morning after it sat outside last night and it was running kind of strange, like it was only on 4 cylinders or something but then all the sudden it just died... after looking around for a minute I noticed the fuel pump wasn't running so I checked the fuses and relays for that and they all checked out, so I thought maybe the pump itself took a ****... hotwired a battery directly to the pump and away it goes, so that's not the issue... so I checked all the fuses, theyre all good then checked if the injectors were firing... nope! nothing. so I hooked up my computer to see if there was any codes and HPTuners says it cant find the PCM or whatever it says... try about 3542435 times and it wont ever connect,...

so im kind of at a loss for what to do...?

check for power to the pcm and check your grounds. I do bench top tuning and had one instance where the scanner wouldnt read the ecu, so i took it out used my bench top harness, hooked ground and power and the scanner picked it up so we found out there were 2 grounds loose.

all grounds and power to PCM check out...

another weird little thing... when checking power to the PCM I popped one of the fuses, and when I replaced it the fuel pump kicked on for about a second. I turned the key off then back on and same thing, pump on for just a second an now it wont come on at all again..........

Battery is good. I haven't checked all the relays in the fuse box, but the two relay I have for my fuel pump are good

With the key off and my door open the "security" light is flashing on the dash, does it always do that?
