Ok so I'm trying to get my ve tables good.
I'm using Tuning 101 - Tuning for Dummies PLUS krambo's Idle tuning tips and tricks.
I'm completely new to tuning!
ok so here is what I did
in dtc shut off
-po101
-po102
-po103
set maf to to 0hz
Let truck warm up
Then I did a scan. Went to histogram to ltft and started driving and logging.
Here is my problem if it is a problem, All I'm getting is 0 in all the cells I hit??? so I went and looked at my maf and it was still reading so I unpuged it and scanned again same thing all 0.
whats going on. Is this normal?

What do you mean tables?
What I'm doing is hitting the record button basically going into histogram then my table 3 which is my ltft and watching the cells fill with 0?
Where eles can I log it if not there and see what cells I'm hitting?

I'm saying that if you are just trying to log VE only, you must NOT log anything MAF related. That can throw off all readings.
The table display or "Channels" are what you are picking to log, you cannot have anything MAF related there.
Past that I don't know what else. I never tuned my VE using the stft/ltft way I guess. I always had my wideband hooked up and used that to make corrections.

No luck took out everything maf related set all 3 to mil on first error enabled and disabled the p codes.
Tried all the 3 on mil on 2nd error
Its not wanting to throw the code!!!
Iv noticed it does not want to stall as much with the maf plugged in and runs better so I take that as the maf is still working no matter what combo I try.

The MAF has the IAT sensor, so I wouldnt run it with it unplugged.
If you are still using 2.24, you can follow this closely. But 3.0 is still very similar. I followed this my first time and it worked like it should.

Like FFDP said, the MAF stays connected due to the IAT sensor.
