Yes sir it does! Have tuned literally hundreds of applications using Lambda, barely even think in terms of "AFR" these days anymore.

The beautiful thing about Lambda is no matter what is in the tank Lambda does not change. Meaning 100% pure gas stoich is Lambda = 1, E10 stoich is Lambda = 1, E85 stoich is Lambda = 1 and so on.....

Great write up. Been using lambda since I started playing with HP Tuners. Watched the Calibrated Success DVD's and this hit's it spot on.


Going to go into further detail on smoothing MAF and VE??

The DVDs are too expensive for me, I did buy both of Greg's tuning books on amazon and skimmed through them.


I didn't want this to be a how to tune write up. There are plenty of those.

I know this is old but what's the 100* for? I tried the 100* and it's my numbers -6.000 which is too much..
