Default How to remove pins from connector

Tips for removing these pins from this connector? I've removed the O2 sensor pins and PCM pins before, not sure if this is the same or not. Just want to avoid damaging anything.

The ones in the trans connector will be a little different. The process to remove the pins is similar. Just take your time and be patient.

A bent paper clip and precision picks will be your friend, no biggie just need to push in and release the locking part of the pin , kinda hard to type, wish I could just show how I do it lol.

Hey Tim, already tried the paper clip trick but it actually wont fit in the slot..it's one of the thin ones too. Precision picks sounds like a much better tool to have.

BTW, this is a connector on a wideband setup. Gotta get the connector off so I can get the wire into the cab. I don't want to create a hole big enough to fit this monstrous connector obviously.

Ahh gotchya , the connector on my WB is close or the same IIRC, ( innovate ) but I had a factory hole in the floor I could feed or backfield it thru , ( been 3 years ago ) so try that before taking it apart .

I think I know what hole you're talking about. Is it the one the shifter cable goes thru? If so I used that for my Innovate LC-1 back then.

My memory is shorter than my dick , I can't remember lol

Just peel up the Carpet on your drivers side and look around by where the rocker meets the floor pan, it might be the Ebrake hole not sure .

Thanks for the advice. I leave the connector intact and wait until the install.

If i remember right i think if you pop out the white piece you can get to the locking tabs easier.
