Help tuning my 6.2 Denali
Trying to tune my 2007 Sierra Denali with the 6.2 and 6 speed using HPTuners. Ive got intake and cat back. This thing is confusing as ****. Can anyone send me a tune they have done on one to get me started. Or any info would be appreciated.

I'm trying to get help with tuning my Sierra Denali too. I just installed a Mast cam this past weekend and want to get the tune sorted to run it this weekend. Tried e-mailing and PMing Wheatley, but so far no response.
I had asked Mast when I bought the cam about giving me some help with tuning as well, especially the VVT phaser curve/timing etc. I wanted to buy a tune from them for that cam (since they must have one, right?). They told me that I couldn't buy a tune from them for that cam, but I could get Horace Mast to help, because he's their tuner. I've sent e-mail to him as well but no response to that either. I guess they were only interested in selling me their cam kit. Why is it that these people don't see that if you sold a cam kit with ALL of the components and instructions needed to make it run right, that it would provide the best promotion for their product?
Hell, I would glady have paid them extra for an instructional DVD with the phaser limiter
install and necessary tuning! It definitely needs a retune with the cam for it to idle properly and to utilize the extra 1000rpm of rpm range, let alone for the VVT to work right, so why not include that as part of the kit too?
Right about now, I'm ready to rip the f@cking manifold off and throw a carb on it!

Hey Norris. How's that rig running? What did you do in the end for a tune with the Mast Cam?
I'm still trying to get the idle smoothed out a bit more and get the VVE tables sorted so that I get my commanded AFR (12.9) in PE mode. Right now it is still a bit rich up top, like 12.2AFR or so at 5500+rpm.
Also, I have the shift speed set a bit high, so it hits the limiter at WOT on the 1-2 shift, but I'll sort that out tomorrow.
I have no way of knowing whether I can gain any HP from tuning the phaser, other than playing with it at the track, because my truck is AWD (so a dyno is not an option).
However, I can say that the cam really feels impressive up top (4500 up), this thing pulls like a freight train right to the limiter (6900), so if there's more left in it, this sucker is going to run!
