I run 20s but run a bigger motor an i run 8.5s on a stock converter. Jamedee is on 17s but a 275/60/17 i think.
It looks like your truck doesnt leave as hard as it should but that could be of the 20s and street tires or the fact that you may be just easing out the hole.

Yes, 20s. But in my searching, most the trucks I'm comparing to also run 20s.

I'm definitely easing into it, but the 60s aren't horrible (but definitely not good!)

But perhaps with tires (and a working posi!!!!) I could actually nail it out of the hole. And see sub 2sec 60s

After I found out it was a 6L I realized you should have been beating on my back bumper with the setup you have. What converter speed are you running again?

Have you tried adjusting your timing down low when you first go WOT?

I added about 5 degrees all over with no KR from the first run to the last, and it made no difference in times.

It's like an old cammed 80s C-10..sounds beast, runs like poop

But it is crazy how much difference it sounds now than with the 5.3.

I had the IAT's that high a few weeks ago when I was at the track and my computer was pulling all kinds of timing. A good CAI combined with a moderate IAT timing table is better than a hot-air intake with a nearly zeroed out IAT timing table, imo.

I can't show you the tune for my truck, but I can let you take a look at a log I scanned at the track. Notice how the timing starts low when I go WOT and then ramps up to max timing.
