Default HELP!!! Truck will not start?

03 Silverado-All Stock

I thought I just had a dead battery this morning. After jumping it and getting it started the truck died after about a block. When it died Everything went off at once. Radio, A/C, Guages, Motor, Etc.

any ideas, I'm scared its a short in the harness and I am out of warranty...

It's gots to be something electrical?? Double check your battery connections make sure they are stable and not loose and are not corroted! Also make sure the alternator is working right!

If it just died like that and everything went out it's gotta be something electrical! If it was the fuel pump that was bad your electrical devices would have still worked and the only the thing that would've died would be the motor!

Well I when I got home from work yesterday I started at the connections. I had done this right before it had to be towed back to my house, but this time I planned on disconnecting and reconnecting them, just to be sure and then move on to the grounds etc. When I grabbed the positive cable it came off in my hand with part of the battery! The battery had melted underneath the foam cover. Replaced battery and no further problems so far.
