they're all garbage, get a custom pcm tune. do a search for nelson or wheatley or look to your right for one of the sponsors.

Handheld programmers don't do a whole lot for you, I had tried most of the brands back in the day before I got hptuners and was not impressed at all with any of them. I guess from what I here the diablo/predator does more stuff now but I still wouldn't expect the gains you can get from a custom tune

Most handhelds are what $400-$450 so for just a little bit more you could get yourself hptuners or efilive and learn to do it yourself. You would be much happier in the long run and their is alot of help on here and like hptuners forum to help you learn it, it's not too difficult although it may seem a bit overwhelming at times it's worth it to learn.

defiantly go with a custom tune...it will be night and day difference over a hand held unit!

Welcome to PT.net....if you haven't looked around a bit, please take your time to do so! You will see this isn't just a truck web site but rather a central meeting place for truck owners who want the best possible performance from their heavy machines.
The above posts are correct, don't buy a handheld tuner. Get a custom tune, and enjoy the rewards! Looks at our sponsor list ----->

+ 2 on that. Well said trever1T, if I have know of this site before I would of gotten a custom tune instead of a hand held programmer. Spend the money once on a custom tune.
