ok so I just ordered hp tuners suite hasn't come in yet but Im a virgin to tuning always wanted to learn how and now is the time I guess im going to be tuning my truck mainly... its an 04 sierra lm7 5.3 4lshitty with longtubes(no cats) and k&n drop in has stock 3.73s looking for a good tune to start with if anyone has any advice or a good base tune that i can practice with i would greatly appreciate it....

Start by reading alot of the stickys on the hp tuners website.

They have a bunch of stuff on demo type video's to get you started, they can show you how to use the software well.

I have a very mild tune done on my 06 sierra, no maf or ve changes, it's just some minor pe table and transmission shift changes aswell as some toruqe management removed. You can compare to yours if you want to see it, just let me know.

Turning off those rear o2 is a breeze, hit up the DTC page and set anything rear o2 related for both sides to no report.

Thanks man I've been glued to hptuners site for like a week now but it's like reading instruction on how to install parts with no parts in front of me lol
