hard start after flashing tune

Default hard start after flashing tune

how come after every time I flash a new tune my truck wont hardly start and will only run for a second or two then shuts off?? then all the sudden its like something flips a switch and it runs fine.........

I am betting you are speed density, if so then it is because it has to set the MAF code and learn the idle trims as I was told. Mine does the same, it has done this since I went 2bar in 06'

Yup, I'm SD. I wonder if I completely disable whatever code you're talking about it'll fix that..? Like instead of just having it set to no mil report or whatever it's called?

It has to set in order for it to go into Speed density mode.

my 408 did that for a while. i have no clue what charlie did to fix it but it fired right up after every tune after he messed with it. i want to say it was in the base idle airflow table? i'm probably wrong.

Mine does the same. A lot of vehicles actually do that and are still using the maf.
