I have read that handhelds are a waste of money but i drive a company truck ( 08 vortec max 4x4 4.10 gear) that i want to make run better without sending a red flag to the boss. This means no sending the computer of for work or sending the truck out for dyno work. Are there any handhelds that will make a noticeable or any differnce how the truck runs or am I stuck with a 6.0 liter turd?

it most likely wont be to long before nelson and wheatley get 08 pcm's in stock im sure. might have to wait a little while but eventually they will make it possible with no down time.

I've seen trucks ping like crazy from a handheld which would kr therefore losing hp.....I believe it

Find someone local for a street tune and do it on the weekend, no red flags and he can save your stock tune, but in my opinion it's a work truck, don't waste the money, i won't even waste the credits on my work trucks although we've got a kodiak i'd like to tap into and see what that monster has
