Got a tuning ?

im thinking of buying efi live but currently my truck is tuned with hpt. it has a hpt cos. i thought i read somewhere that you cannot just write over it, is this true? any solutions to this?

do a full write with EFI Live's Custom Operating system.... COS#3...

justin at bbp had been doing my tuning, so if he emails me a tune will i be able to write it over the old one? because i have no clue how to write a new tune lol

yes, you will just do a full write instead of a calibration only write... Is your tune unlocked? Because if it is locked you will either have to have the tuner unlock it or get another PCM...

its unlocked, i just heard that a cos with hpt locks the pcm

then you gotta get a new PCM... And then do a full write... Or buy a new PCM from Justin with a tune loaded on it... Justin can provide all of that, PCM, Tune, and EFI Live..
