Would be the first I have heard of dynatechs having an issue to not effect the rear sensor

He's running the complete dynatech system as far as I read, has cats included in the setup, albeit "high flow". I said albeit twice in this thread now

i have the dynatech cats installed

i moved the rear 02 ahead in the pipe to eliminate the pigtail extension and get the 02 ahead of the exhaust stream from the drivers side pipe, it was close to the point where the 2 pipes y-together, the flow from the other pipe may have caused an issue with the reading too, who knows. it won't now.

also, you can't mix up the front and rear oe 02 plugs, but the extension has a male and female end so it would be possible to plug the 02's in wrong with the extension.

thanx for the quick input guys...

I had the same issue on my Vette when I put the Dynatech system on and it was the rear passenger side.

I tried just resetting the codes for a while to see if the tune would adjust to the Dynatechs; it did get longer between throwing codes but it never completely stopped. We have emissions testing in St. Louis so I had to stop the codes; I ended up putting O2 sims on in order to get my code to go away since I didn't have a tuner to shut the codes off.

3 days, same light after moving sensor and eliminating extension.

anyone know if you can change the thresholds with hpt for the sensor, or if i just gotta turn it off.
if i turn it off, any down side for tuning/performance?
does it go to default values or what.
i'd like to have the light out so if something else comes up i'll know...
