Default GM Techs Please Help....

Yesterday I replaced the Battery on My 04 Silverado 2500. After that while driving the A/C works only on the Drivers side, The passanger side (DCC) only blows Hot Air. I Have tried switching between Defrost, Heat, Off, everything I can think of. Whats Happening, Or Not Happening. I checked fuses and didn't see any blown ones. anybody have an Idea????? Thanks Allot..

I know this might not help, but when i had a mail order tune back in the day, when i disconnected my battery and replaced my pcm, some of my fan controls wouldn't work. Basically the vent air would only blow out of the defrost vents, and not out the dash vents. Basically it returned only by driving, and cycling turning it off, then starting the truck again, running it, turning it off, etc. Hope this helps.

I learned this weekend the same thing gmforlife mentions...go through some drive cycles first (a week of driving) before you take it to a professional.

The HVAC control module has what they call "keep alive memory". If you disconect power, it will have to be driven for awhile to re-learn the settings.

Good to hear bro, it's funny how that has to relearn itself.

The same thing happened to me when I installed my stall. The ac would only blow hot air. A couple of restarts and it started working.
