GM Hot Cam Nightmare!!! Please help!!!
#1
So I have been working on a 2000 Chevy Truck with a 5.3 and has a GM Hot Cam installed in it. I have been trying to tune it for a week with not much luck. The idle I still can't get dialed in just right it's either way too rich or so lean that when you roll into the throttle it stumbles on its self for a sec then takes off. I really don't know what else to do. Anybody of ever tuned one of these?
Please Help!!

I have tuned a LT4 Hotcam in a 350 with the 0411 PCM. It might help if you go into the idle are of the main timing and idle spark tables and make a flat spot in the idle area with around 24-26* of timing. Atleast in a 350 the GM Hotcam likes a good bit more idle timing. Also helps the off-idle transition.
