WOW! That's probably really great info for someone who knows how to read those things lol. I'm just looking for what each wire does...Mainly looking for:

bright lite indicator
turn signals (left and right)
speedometer
service engine light

High beam indicator, and fuel level signal come off of the serial data bus. These are not hard wired functions.

Has to be some way to get a reading for the fuel level right? Maybe off the wiring harness on the tank?

The fuel level signal is processed by the pcm it sends 5 volts to the sender and gets a level reading in return. This is information is processed by the pcm then sent to the instrument cluster via serial data over the data bus there is not a hard wired fuel gauge input. What kind of vehicle is this in are you converting something or is it all in a stock application.

It's on my truck. 2007 classic chevy silverado. Installing aftermarket fuel level gauge.

How bout this? Couldn't I get the signal from the wire directly off wiring on the tank?
