Should I unplug the MAf and start the truck for 30sec or just unplug with out running it? Because I have had that MAF unhooked for a while when i re-sealed the MAF to the Volant box

I am having the same issues, I have put new header gaskets and sealed the exhaust and cant find intake leaks. Truck is fine when I first start it up, but once it warms up it is maxed out at 25 during idle, everthing else is OK.

do a vacuum tast just in case, mine came back fine and after some more logging, Thanks to Thunder, we think my MAF is the culprit.

Thunder, dropped the truck off at the dealer, they are replacing the instrument cluster because of that temp gauge issue after the last time we logged but anyway, they said they hooked up the scanner and ran the truck and my fuel trims were fine and its normal for them to jump around and the highest they saw was 15. I went over to the dealer with print outs of the maxed fuel trims and told them this isnt how it should look, one of the techs said it looked fine to him. Well I pushed forward to the manager and he is going to run and scan the truck himself after the cluster is in tomorrow. I told him **** better be right cause it will be getting logged again.

So after all that you got any opening later this week or next to log?

Well that's shitty....it's not gonna throw any codes though, so I dunno what good scanning it is going to do. What they really need to do is replace the MAF sensor, but it doesn't sound like they would be willing to do that. In any case, if they don't come through you should be able to get one for something like $35 or $40 from someone on the forum here.

Next week I should have some time. The rest of this week and this weekend are pretty busy for me.

When I pulled the codes the only one that I saw was from the MAF being unplugged. There was also something in there about one of the BCMs or something, but it wasn't engine related.
