Friend has HP Tuners, is there a benefit for me....
in tuning my 1999 Silverado?
possible better mileage? more power? is it worth spending $100 for credits?

If you take the time, follow the step by step procedures, definately! $100? most spend ~$400+ for a tune and NOBODY will ever tune as good as you can do it yourself if you spend the time on it.
