i descreened mine when i got my truck(before i found this forum). the first time i got my truck tuned my tuner was sitting there looking at his laptop and couldnt figure something out. after about 5 minutes he asked if i descreened my maf. long story short he told me to replace it with a screened one which i did and the tuning went on like it was suposed to.

i didnt think there were any issues with it since it ran fine and everything but he could tell looking at his laptop that something was off.
