1. Check the H0XXX parameters under "Speedometer"

2. Edit>Configure Display Properties>Click the "Imperial" button at the bottom if you want to change the units for everything, You can also select each item in the list(right click) individually to change the units for that item only

Thanks DRX! I found it... now the big question...... what do i change now? I have a Tuned PCM from jesse but the shifting is a lil off.. its slow and feels like its slipping.. I couldnt compare the stock Tune and the Wait4me Tune. but i did compare the Hypertech PPIII 93oct tune to the Stock tune... there is hardly any difference. except in the Trans settings..

but for my truck with mods in sig.. what should i change?
I got EFI Live so i could learn more bout these vechicles.. But for the first time lookin at all the INFO in the PCM it blew my mind. I didnt know that it controled that much stuff with that many varibles..

I just need help or a book or something that shows what to change, and what happens when it is changed.. Please Help me guys..
Im goin to call jesse tom and hopefully he can tell me some stuff to get started with, if he is not to busy..
Thanks guys!!

You can download a stock tune for your vehicle to compare from here:
http://www.holdencrazy.com/EFILive/ or

http://www.horist.com/hptuner/search.asp?page=search (.bin format only)

there is some trans tuning info here: http://forum.efilive.com/showthread....ighlight=trans

got another question for ya DrX.. where do i change my WOT fueling at??

this is what Jesse told me: i just cant find the tables and stuff yet..

"If you watch the timing, it should max out to a degree before detenation no mater what octain you use.. The only thing left

to do really is to finish the wot fueling. It should be 12.5 at wot right now, but you can move it to 12.8 or so if that is

what your truck likes.. I set them up to be a little rich on purpose. More like a safety thing on my end.....

If it for some reason dont move up more on your timing, then just add 2 degrees to the whole table then log Kr and remove any

that is seen. It should be maxed out though...."

what in the Main VE Table used for?
When changing the timing, is that done in the High Octane table and Low Octane table?
Where is Torque Management takin out at?
what table controls WOT fueling?
Thanks!!

Just noticed this.

I'm still a beginner at this but:

For WOT fueling look at: Engine Calibration>Fuel>Mixture>PE Modifier Based on RPM to change the commanded WOT AFR. You can also take a look at Mixture>Parameters to see what MAP PE is set to kick in at. As well as Mixture>Normal PE Mode Enable to adjust the throttle positions at which it is enabled.

Make timing changes to the high octane table. If there is any knock the timing will fall back to the low octane and work its way back up as long as there is no knock. You can use the Forced Octane Scaler if you have a custom OS. Some people will copy the high octane table to the low octane table but you will have to be careful. You will have to do some logging and make corrections as necessary.

You can use the navigator/search feature to help you find things in EFILive. Read all the tutorials and also the stickies on the EFILive Forum. You can setup a timing map for logging similar to setting up a BEN map as described in the AutoVE tutorial.

Torque management- See: Engine Calibration>Abuse Management, Engine Cal>Torque Limiting, Engine Cal>Traction Control(if applicable), Transmission Cal>Torque Reduction>Abuse

Thank you DrX!! I see whats happening now..
Is there a rule of thumb as to how much Timing i should adjust by? Say start by adding 2% at a time or 1 or 2 degrees to start with? Using 93 oct, should i advance the timing to start with?
Sorry for the many questions....

How about tuning my friends truck (04 Z71 ECSB 5.3, Magnaflow exhaust and K&N factory replacement) For just gas mileage? add timing a lil bit then look for KR??
