The problem I always had when I get a little KR is it's at WOT and all I hear is the Procharger and exhaust screaming. Not sure I would recognize the sound over all that or not LOL

What I was kinda taught is to watch the graph. If it steps up like stairs then it's real KR and if it looks like triangles then it's burst knock or false knock.

So lets say my low RPM/high TPS it is real. What would I do to fix it? Feel free to throw out some links, I'm sure it's not as simple as adjusting some tables (I've been using EFILive for less than a day )

^^ Same things I do. lower the timing in the area it's happening in. Sometimes you have to lower it quite a bit and then bring it back up before the knock will go away. The computer will learn knock and where it happens and you have to bring it down below the values it's learned before it completely goes away and you can start bringing it back up slowly.

Or you can richen the fuel mixture a bit under "PE" condition. For example if you are running an EQ ratio of say 1.17 while in PE mode, you could richen it to 1.20-1.22. If your PE EQ ratio is 1.25 or higher, the I would forget trying to richen it more. I have yet to find a newer truck that does not randomly throw up anywhere between 1-4 degrees of knock retard while just lightly driving around. These are all stock trucks mind you.

Here is a snap shot of a log I made. I was on the highway in 6th varying TP and was able to get quite a bit of KR. I listened as hard as I could and didn't really hear anything out of the ordinary. I could hear the rattling sound I mentioned before but there was no KR when it was making that sound. I did here one *tink* and then got KR right after, but man it's not easy to hear over the exhaust. My engine sounds like a bag of rocks anyways. Wouldn't be surprised if it's false knock.

I did do a WOT run up to 70mph and got no KR.
