Me too, but with mine being a 2000 pin 33 was empty.

pin 33 "should" have a wire going to the recirculate in all 99-02 trucks. I'm not sure about the 03's but in the 04 and ups socket 33 has no pin and you can use it for the fans. I've never heard of anyone being able to splice into pin 33 on the 99-02 trucks and having the fans work...
