is this false knock or what???
first off how you doing im new to the site. im not used to tuning gas trucks im used to tuning duramax's, but i am working a tune for a friend of mine. its a 2004 chevrolet with 5.3/auto. i made a tune for it but im picking up alot of knock retard. there are no rattles in the truck, it has exhaust with cats out the back. i tried changing the knock filter and didnt change at all. i am going to post up his log. max knock retard is 16.5 and comes down to about 15.8. what do you think is going on. truck has 65k miles. and let me know if you think there is something i should change. thanks

Can you post the Tune file? What octane fuel is he running? Can you log the Injector Duty Cycle? Also you either have no reading on the wideband or it's so rich it can't read any further than 7.35.
Your Injector Base Pulse Width is crazy high. I checked one of my old logs and at WOT and 12.5 AFR my IBPW never goes over 19ms.
Yours at idle are at 37ms and over 360ms at WOT.
Really need to look at the tune to say whats wrong.
on a side note, you can shut off the Power at Rear WHeels PID. that thing is useless. Power at Flywheel is far more accurate.
