Default expected tuning price for the "SEC" area... (since footballs here and all)

ive got a 03 sierra 1500 with a 6.0 swap, long tubes, polished TB, K&N, Gibson exhaust, LS1 electric fans...

The computer was pulled and sent off by a dealership when the 6.0 was swapped also by the dealer... o2 sensors all were always on and it seemed slow for what it should have been i think... wont even burn the tires (on 33AT's but still?)... and the previous (late 50's) owner kept talking about how good the gas mileage was so im guessing he probly had it tuned for fuel mileage...

anyways im about an hour south of ATL and waiting on a quote from Vengeance and got one from Atlanta Chassis Dyno but i thought they were ridiculously high...

Im doing a cam swap come next Thur and was wanting to tune it right after for everything since the fans, TB, and exhaust are all new as well...

looking to get an idea on what i should be looking to pay... whats on the low end and whats the most i should spend and anymore other local places? thanks!

Dyno tune or mail order tune? Dyno tunes are usually in the $400- $500 range.
mail order tunes I think run $100- $200

Personally, I would pay whatever Vengeance wanted. They do great work from what I understand.

Id say 300 for a street tune, and atleast 100 higher for a dyno tune.

Yes, I think $750 is a little too much

i got recommended to a guy in Tifton GA and hes talking about $500 and dyno'd with keeping it about 2 days so i think i may go his rout... seems like a decent guy and hes recently done another Z71 with a 6.0 swap too... not to far away as well... i guess Vengeance will hit me back monday... if not then thats on them... i left a message so if they dont call back by the time im ready then thats not my fault... hate to be that way but theres enough places i shouldnt have to beg for any business to make some money... thanks for the info/help guys!
