Default engine stays running when key is off and out

Long story short... Go to turn the truck off, and the engine stays running. Everything interior, lights, etc turn off like they should, but not the engine.

Pull fuel pump relay and battery neg. cable to kill it. connect battery and fans, pump, etc come on like the key is in the on position even though its off/out.

Starts up fine, drives fine, key turns fine and comes out fine, but engine won't shut off.

Please tell me all I need to do is pick up a new ignition switch from O'Reilly's and don't need to get the Cylinder rebuilt etc etc..

I had the same problem with mine before I hooked my fans to my computer. Turned out to be the e fan harness letting power feed back to the ignition through the a/c wire. Disconnected that and problem solved. Hooked the fans up to the computer after that.
