Default EFILive and Moates RoadRunner

Whos got one?
What do you think of it?
Is it worth the money?
How much easier is it to tune with RTACS?
What are the deals going for one right now?

Considering making the purchase, just not sure if its worth the coin. I have seen posts from some who love it and from some who have had nothing but problems. I just hate shutting down and waiting for the reflash. Someone make me a deal... Anyone got one they wanna sell?

I use our Real Time Tuning custom operating systems on most every vehicle I've tuned and absolutely love them, for most its a very cost effective way(nearly 1/2 the price of Roadrunner+the license needed) to tune in real time for as little as $499 if you don't already own our software.

You can view the application procedure & a short demo of how easy it is to use here:

Right, but thats still the feedback im looking for. Doesnt matter to me which one you have. I have to assume they are similar in how they work. Just wondering if the cost of one is worth it. I assume you can just leave it in there as a replacement PCM right? Is not any less durabable than the OEM computer is it?

You dont have one Kyle?

The RR is a modified stock PCM. Mine has been installed in the truck since I got it. It's nice to be able to make changes on the fly and it puts the "Auto" into AutoVE (or updating any other tables). The ultra fast reflashes are a bonus.

Ditto, but I had trouble with mine it would lockup when trying to do the realtime updates(as others have).Until i bought the bluetooth for it...but I never got the BT to work with my laptop...but it started working with the usb it came with.
So I'm happy with it. I have not been impressed with the support from Moates however.
