Do you have a log to go with it? What is it doing up top?

Should be right in that post- I'm a little lean still around 5500 and up - I'm so close to being done with VE table-

After even adding 10% to the top end of the VE

I ran out of time and now the truck is in storage- he's bumming the fact he is running full torque management on transmission - I told him if I unleash it plan a trans.

Ive had efi live for about 6 years now mainly for the diesel side of things but have started using and tuning a lot more gas stuff now. So a sticky or a help community on here would be an awesome thing for some of the newer users because i find the efi forum to be hit or miss with help sometimes.

I only saw the tune file. How are you adding fuel? The MAF table looks pretty close to stock.

when I get home and boot up my laptop I will upload the most recent log I have. I've only modified the MAF once, I mostly stayed on correcting VE - I tuned in the VE from idle to 4000 rpms. Thinking the MAF would take care of the rest- but joe car told me no no- finish VE

I believe I'm using the CALC.MAF process maybe the CALC.VET it's been a few months since I've looked at it

That's the link of the tuning process I've been through- the thread I started.

You will need to disable your MAF to tune the VE.

Just purchase EFIv2. I want to learn how this stuff works. Would be nice to look at other peoples tunes. So how do you look at them? I downloaded trxmxzx tune and it showed up in scan and tune but what do you do with it from there?
If this question does not belong in this thread just let me know.

The problem I find with Efilive Forum and some other communities is that they are already mature. Meaning a lot of the active people already know their ****. Been there and done that so they dont go online anymore. As a result the forum isn't very active and the only post is from the occasional newbie looking for advice. Maybe if you get lucky someone will respond in like 5 days.

I got my vehicle tuned with the calc.VET process using the LTFTs and my WB. There is a custom PID documented in the process that picks LTFT or WB based on your AFR. But not everything is copy paste even with filters. You have to look at the data and throw stuff out that looks suspect.
