Good point!! along with segment swaps I forgot about the black box features.

I also just remebered the road runner realtime tuning from Moates. While Its beyond my current capability, I think its a really cool feature for EFI Live users!

You're going to get good results with either one. If you're a newbie to tuning, I'd recommend using whichever one will make it easier for you to get help. Help in the form of somebody local to you, that is able to help you would be invaluable. Or purchasing it from a vendor that can also give/sell you a base tune as a starting point would let you hit the ground running. There's alot going on when you're tuning a boosted setup, and alot of money on the line if you make a big mistake. Good luck either way. Owning your own tuning software is invaluable.

I prefer efilive and that is what i use. But in your case being a 2007 and FI, i dont believe COS3 is available for your PCM but i would check prior to buying. Hpt may have a cos for the 2007 that will have the 2 bar ve table that you will need if your bumping up the boost.

Is your truck already tuned?
if not you might want to go thru a sponsor that can add a starter tune for you.. Things go bad really fast when your learing to tune for boost..

I have EFI Live and no complaints. Ive messed with HPT but since i was already use to EFIL then it was really hard to find things. But theres guys out there that use it, so it can be done either way you go..

You'll find that we offer 2 bar support for os id 12597120 for the 2007 Classic.

With efi you are stuck with the stock 1 bar operating system so you'll be fudging alot of the fueling numbers even though you'd be paying an additional $250 over our package.

Let me know if you have any questions.

You can run a 05? tac module and gas pedal and use the 2005 COS for EFI Live on the 07 classics after you flash in a 2005 OS

Sounds like backwards progress to me.

The fact that they raised their pricing across the board 25% doesn't sway that position? I think they even raised their single vcm licenses to $125.
