EFI live trouble- wont log DTC's

Just another suggestion is to make sure that you are connecting with the right controler, which should be the GENIII LS1 99-08 PCM. It is under select controller under the file tab

All the connections are legit, I have used this many times over to log with.. It just will not let me actually scan DTC's or even log anything.. Just connect..

It's only connecting to the V2 its self and not the truck, that's why everything is grayed out. Check and make sure the OBDII port fuse (cig fuse) is good and when you plug the V2 into the OBDII port that it powers up (not connected to the laptop) . You should plug it into the truck first and then the laptop anyway.
