Ok I'm a newb with efi live and most of the time I cant get the scan tool to start before its gives me an error report. I turn the key on to run and connect pressing the little green button and then crank up and press the yellow button to monitor data and this is when it gives me the error report.
Most of the time the error is $02 and sometimes $01. Can somebody please help me get this straightened out.

 

Do you mean when you are checking the PIDs? Did you program the PIDs into the Flashscan?

 

Yes. All the pids are programed that I want. Iv already been out and done some logging before but most of the time it won't work because it gives me that error report for some reason

 

Check to see if you have the latest version. it used to do this a few updates ago. No monitor, had to record to get it to scan. Update to the latest version and retry.

 

If figured it would be the latest version because I just downloaded it last week. But ill check for some updates. Thanx

 

You did update the firmware on the blackbox at the same time you downloaded the software right? If you didn't that presents an error as there is a mismatch in software.
