Default EFI Live Cos3 and closed loop?

Is it ok to run the engine in closed loop on a cos3 2bar tune? My tuner has me set up running off the trims right now, but I just read in a tutorial not to run in closed loop with a cos3. What does it mean?

You can run with LTFT enabled, but it is a pita to get the boost control to work correctly. With the COS setup enabled correctly (correct temp control settings and LTFT disabled) the fuel trimming should work fine and there should be no issues.
