When a certain % of ethanol is detected the flex fuel timing table is used. It's been so long since I messed with it I can't remember what % it is. I almost think it was around 60% though.

One of the axes for the timing table is alcohol %, so it would reference the sensor or whatever the computer thinks the alcohol % is. Same with the stoich afr table.
