Default Fuel system upgrades for the Tahoe.....

So after doing some searching and considering a surge tank... Blah blah blah... I found this gem of a company, and right in my own town!!! So Monday I'm gonna take a ride over to the west side and look into these setups! Look promising for my 1000+rwhp goals! Ricks tanks in El Paso! It's a complete universal bolt in kit.... So hopefully it'll work for my goals! Bolt In - Rick's Tank's

It looks like it has the same mounting ring as the gm trucks. If it doesnt take too much to make it work it may be an easier solution to fuel issues on the gmt900 trucks. I got a walbro 450 in my stock bucket but im not pushing it like your going to on your tahoe.

It's a universal bolt in system... Comes with a keyhole saw and everything! I'm headed over to speak with them right now and hopefully I'll be leaving with one! Hopefully it's at a pretty good price point, I could see this unit being a durable "fix all" for all our race trucks! You can get the bucket in single, duals, and every size fuel pump! I'll let you know how it goes....

Just got back from ricks tanks and it is a direct fit for the gmt900 trucks! Uses the factory 10325852 snap ring and everything! Super nice piece with a adjustable bucket height! Im picking mine up in a couple days! It's made to hold all size fuel pumps and they make diffrent fittings for each pump feed line!

Looks good, and a nice piece, but nothing you couldn't do with the stock setup. All comes down to how much $$ u wanna spend

True.... But I don't mind spending a couple hundred for this and not worrying about fitting pumps in stock bucket and whatever other problems people have trying to modify stock buckets, like always having to keep a certain amount of gas in the tank or something?

What are the main problems people usually have when trying to modify the factory bucket for a couple 450's?
