THEN you TOOK 20% OUT of the VE to lean it out and now your lean??? You should try putting your VE back to stock and then try 10.5-11 Stoich and adjusting it up or down till you can get your STFT and LTFT back in line. You will then have to re-adjust it down next time you fill up as you get closer to actual E85.

BTW, You can buy the Cadillac sensor and pig tail off Ebay for about $100 and enable the ethanol tables in your stock tune and have TRUE FF. I just did this with my Cruze. Worked AWESOME!
I took 20% to get back to lambda, it was just really lean on cold start (60 F) this morning. I will do as you suggest, I just didn't think it would be that far off but I'm sure it is because it isn't true e85 yet like you said. I'm trying to find that spreadsheet Atomic made.

That's a new part price? If so that's dirty cheap, those sensors should be full of diamonds based on some of the prices I've seen charged for them.

Thanks, I just found it too, a few minutes before you posted. Yeah, I did the math (well you did :p)and Kyle damn near nailed it. I'll load the gas VE that was pretty spot on, try 11.1:1 as stoich and see how it is. I didn't realize how much even a 3-4 gallons (possibly even more)of gas could effect it, just being naive I guess. Thanks guys.

Oh okay. Good to know. I thought that started in the NNBS trucks

Not true - 05 and 06 OS's use a virtual flex fuel setup - no ethanol content sensor. You can put a flex fuel OS in a non-flex fuel vehicle and you don't need a sensor...

One of the advantages of EFILive - no credits... I would think it would be worth it to have flex fuel capability! I have one ready to plug into my wife's 06 Tahoe should I ever have the need/availability for E85...
