Default E-fan temp. setting

So what are you guys running for your E-fan temp. settings.
I'm running a 160* thermostat and running my E-fan settings at
189-on
182-off
this is what I was told to run by Allen Nelson.

To me this seems as if its still a bit warm, so what are you guys having luck with?

I set mine to come on @160 and shut off @155. One of my fans stays on all the time. The temp setting is when the second fan comes on and once it is on, the settings are to where the second fan will never shut off.

This is just the way I choose to run in the Summer time heat and the amount of towing I do. Not necessarily recommended.

yeah I had the 189-182 setting from allen also, although I dont have fans, i might soon and thats what I was told to run. What about running something in the 180/173 range? That might keep your temps where you want them. Or you could just start with the 189/182 setting and work the settings down 1* until you hit the spot where you want them during normal driving.
