Wait, that won't work or high speed unless 42 and A/C signal at same time. Let me fix it.

That would have to work. Pin 42 must be energized when the A/C is energized. If it is, your first diagram should work to turn the left fan on by temp, and both fans by A/C.
Mine would have both run slow by temp, and both run high by A/C.
Does anyone know if pin 42 is energized both by coolant temp and A/C?

That would make the left fan only run by pin 42, and right fan only by A/C, if pin 42 is not activated by the PCM during A/C. Also you would not need the relay on the right in that setup, just run hot straight to the fan.
