Default DTC C0550 "Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Performance

C0550 "Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Performance" MH ($29) "Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)"

"Service braking system" message on the DIC, abs + brake lights on the dash. PCM went reduced power, only 40% throttle per EFI. Never saw this code or message/lights before, but truck has gone REP before with no codes set. First time I got to scan it.

Dealer? Warranty up in 5k miles. Have stock pcm for this. Code reset immediately after clearing and restarting. SO it should do the same if I swap to factory pcm? I want the dealer to see this code if they will fix it.

Any idea's?

The lights and message out the blue. Truck has gone into reduced power before with no codes.

Truck running strong now, code present again after clearing.

Thanks.

I've gotten service Brake System out of the blue before. I was thinking it was because of the cam not giving enough vacuum.

Not sure tho. Hopefully someone knows.

This needs to be moved to the GM Board.

I don't know what happened.
